Tactical Urbanism provides the city an opportunity to come together, voice their opinion and create a livable environment for all urban members. The overarching theme threaded throughout all approaches is community, engagement, and the mark of the human hand by giving the city an opportunity to say yes. These actions are part of a citizen-based movement that is bringing welcome improvements to connect people to public spaces in urban communities.

The two juxtaposing elements are the painters tape and the hand drawn icons. The painters tape represents the temporary aspect of tactical urbanism utilizing cheap accessible materials. Beneath the surface is tactical urbanism's permanent aspect using the mark of the human hand- unique sketches representing citizen input, progression and change making throughout the community.

Morse code is threaded throughout all three panels, alluding to the act of decoding, abbreviation in order to communicate a story (short term vs. long term). The three dots, three dashes and three dots translate to S.O.S, or in this case, “Save Our Society”.
