After four

In the developed world nearly everything has become disposable. In my quest to deeper understand our “throwaway culture”, I head out after four, the evening before garbage pickup, exploring various neighbor-hood’s trash. The discarded objects as artifacts of contemporary America provide ethnographic insight, telling of our material culture, stories and values. After four is a documentation of my finds throughout the city, observing and retrieving the lost and discarded objects of consumer society and reinvesting them with considerations of value, utility and meaning.

Poets House Library Rebrand

Poets House is responsible for the preservation and circulation of poetry. In order to keep poetry alive, Poet’s House branding is repositioned to a younger demographic, specifically teens, with a bold color palette and graphics conveying poetry's expressive nature. Poets House logo encompasses the two main components of the library, written/spoken verse along with a community space teens can call home.

Save Our Society

Tactical Urbanism provides the city an opportunity to come together, voice their opinion and create a livable environment for all urban members. This triptych created for The New York Times Cities For Tomorrow Conference, uses painter's tape to represent the temporary aspect of tactical urbanism. This is juxtaposed by anticipated permanent changes represented by the mark of the human hand, expressing community engagement and giving the city an opportunity to say yes.

Other Mother

Society is so consumed by the rapid growth of technology, we’ve lost sight of our roots: nature. Other Mother strives to raise public awareness of technology’s rapid growth in society and the environment. In order to visually communicate the fleeting nature of society and its ever-changing state, we create a thought provoking visual narrative using organic morphing forms representing the metamorphosis, transformation and evolution of nature and technology.

Google Self-Driving Car

In order to ease the public into such a technologically advanced concept, we created fun, quirky google car icons. Each icon represents a different attribute of the smart, adorable vehicle. Icons are applied throughout various promotional pieces such as a poster and booklet.

The Dollar Slice Guide

The Dollar Slice Guide offers cheap eats without sacrificing taste and convenience. This collapsable pocket sized guide provides New Yorkers and tourists with the top dollar slice spots throughout NYC. An unconventional pizza color palette along with quirky illustrations reinvent the potential of a slice that costs a buck.

Pom Wonderful

In order to provide viewers with this feeling of "wonderful", we developed a logo that incorporates a cheerful sunburst of seeds within the silhouette of half cut pomegranate. The logo is paired with clean sans serif type for an overall modern, bright, feel-good lockup.
